Welcome to the TJCA High School Counseling Office Webpage!

In accordance with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Comprehensive School Counseling Standard Course of Study and the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Mission Statement, the main goals of the high school counseling program are:
 
  • Students will demonstrate a positive attitude toward self as a unique and worthy individual.
  • Students will gain life-planning skills that are consistent with needs, interests, and abilities
  • Students will develop responsible social skills and an understanding and appreciation of being a contributing member of society.
  • Students will demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the life-long process of learning, growing, and changing.
 
Current TJCA students who need transcripts: please complete the transcript request form below and return it to Mrs. Humphries at the High School.
TJCA Graduates who need transcripts sent to colleges/programs: Please send Ms. Humphries an email requesting that your transcript be sent, along with your name at time of attendance, graduation date, full name and mailing address of the college or program.
