Biography

 
Part of the TJCA community since 2011, Robin currently serves as the Upper Campus Librarian. 
 
His accomplishments include: 
 
  • Having more than 20 years as an educator in Rutherford County
  • Serving three years as an adult high school instructor at Isothermal Community College
  • Serving four years as the coordinator of a Head Start program with Rutherford County Schools
 
He earned a: 
 
  • Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University
  • Adult Literacy Certificate from Western Kentucky University
 
Outside of work, Robin enjoys spending time with his family. He is the President of the Rutherford County Historical Society and serves as the official Historian of Rutherford County and the Town of Rutherfordton. He collects early 19th-century decorative arts and furniture and plays the harp.
