Biography
Part of the TJCA community since 2006, Thomas currently serves as the Mathematics and Computer Science Department Chair.
His accomplishments include:
- Teaching AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Physics 1, a Quantum Computing class, Precalculus, Algebra 3, Geometry, Competition Math, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, AP Statistics, and AP Physics C: Mechanics
- Developing the Science Olympiad team, which has grown into a back-to-back state championship invitational participants
He earned a:
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Gardner-Webb University
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He enjoys carpentry, tinkering, board games, escape rooms and 3D design and printing.
