Biography
Part of the TJCA community since 2022, Sam currently serves as the High School PE teacher.
His accomplishments include:
- Serving as an educator at Woodlawn Middle School, where he taught eighth-grade Social Studies. He also taught a Teen Leadership Class for four years, in which he developed his own curriculum.
- Being nominated twice for Teacher of the Year.
- Winning multiple championships as a coach with both the boys and girls basketball programs
- Won two state championships as a member of the coaching staff at The Burlington School
- Serving as Director of Operations for Team Curry, which is Stephen Curry's travel basketball team. He has coached 22 players currently on an NCAA roster.
He earned a:
- Bachelor of Arts in History with Teacher Licensure from Campbell University.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends.
