Cross Country

TJCA Cross Country (XC) started in 2009. Since then, the team has sent runners to the state championship every year. Many athletes have earned awards like all-conference, conference runner of the year, and all-state. Some TJCA XC runners have even gone on to compete in college with scholarships.

The teams race in big state and regional meets. They have won several conference titles and a regional title. In 2020–2021, the girls’ team made history by winning TJCA’s first varsity state championship.

The regular season goes from August to November. Optional practices begin in early June.

TJCA XC teaches students to love running and build good character. The team values hard work, aiming high, and always supporting each other.
