TJCA claimed state championship writing awards for the third consecutive year at The Quill, an on-demand high school writing competition hosted by the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities.

The Thomas Jefferson High School Academic Team placed 2nd at the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities “The Twelve” State Finals.

We are excited to be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the completion of its new $18 million high school campus.

The two-hour delay scheduled for tomorrow has been changed to a remote instructional day for staff and students due to expected hazardous conditions. There will be no COVID testing and the Open House has been canceled.  Please continue to be safe and exercise caution if you must travel.  We look forward to welcoming you back to school next week.

The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy High School Academic Team finished first at the 15-team Southside Starter in Greenville, SC, on Saturday, Oct. 16.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy recently secured $700,000 in funding over a five-year time frame through a North Carolina Access Grant. This grant, which is only available to charter schools, will provide necessary capital funding for transportation and technology.

It's Toys For Tots season! Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Shelby home game on Friday, Sept. 24th. This also happens to be Military/First Responder Appreciation Night. The Marines will be in uniform by the Front Gate to accept your donations. All proceeds go to help children right here in Rutherford County!
