TJCA supports National Bullying Prevention Month with Unity Day

At TJCA, we are proud to support Unity Day—the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. Unity Day is all about promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying.

When: Thursday, October 16

How to Participate: Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange to show support.

Why orange?

  • It’s a color of the season, warm and inviting.

  • It’s linked to safety and visibility.

  • Its vibrancy makes a powerful, unified statement.

Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, is a nationwide call to action:

  • Bring together youth, parents, educators, and communities.

  • Show that bullying is not acceptable.

  • Emphasize that every student deserves to feel safe, both in school, online, and in the community.

Let’s come together in orange and make a strong, visible statement:
Kindness, acceptance, and inclusion matter every day.
